Predatech achieves CREST accredited member status

We’re delighted to announce that Predatech has successfully achieved CREST accredited member status. CREST is recognised globally as the cyber assurance body for the technical security industry.

Launched in 2020, Predatech has helped to improve the cyber security of over one hundred organisations to date, including banks, hospices, and technology scale-ups. Organisations work with Predatech’s cyber security experts to test their applications and IT systems for any vulnerabilities that could allow hackers to damage systems, steal data, or hold it to ransom.

And with 3 UK SMEs successfully hacked every minute, Predatech aims to become the cyber security consultancy of choice for SMEs.

Jason Johnson, Predatech Co-Founder and Lead Penetration Tester said, “Becoming a CREST accredited member for penetration testing is a great start to the year for the business. This accreditation is a major milestone for us as it provides external recognition of the high standards that we hold ourselves too and that our clients rightly demand.”

“We are pleased to welcome Predatech as the latest UK company to achieve CREST accreditation,” said Rowland Johnson, President of CREST. “This fast-growing business demonstrates high standards in manual penetration testing, which has been validated through the CREST accreditation process. CREST accreditation requires rigorous assessment of business processes, data security and testing methodologies, putting Predatech in a strong position alongside other CREST members to take advantage of the growing demand for high quality penetration testing services.”

CREST is a not-for-profit accreditation, certification body, and trade association that represents and supports the technical information security market. All CREST member companies undergo stringent assessment; while CREST qualified individuals have to pass rigorous professional level examinations to demonstrate knowledge, skill and competence.

Predatech also offers a range of other services and is an IASME Certification Body for Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus & IASME Governance.
